Wall Paint Design Ideas With Masking Tape

1 Mins read

This material has exciting and diverse design possibilities, and several designs have been applied to walls using masking tape.

Masking tape can be considered one of the simplest and most effective tools for creating complex and intricate patterns on walls related to the artwork on them. Here’s a short guide on popular ideas:

Geometric Patterns: With the help of masking tape, stick triangles, squares, or other polygons on the wall. After taping the areas desired to be left with a darker color, apply paint to the necessary extent and let it dry; finally, pull off the tape, and you will get clean lines and bolder geometric patterns.

Chevron or Zigzag Stripes:
Stick the tapes in a zigzag manner, ensuring there should be some distance between them. Fill and paint right over the taped areas to achieve clean and fashionable chevron stripes that enhance the texture of a particular room.

Vertical or Horizontal Stripes: For neat vertical or horizontal stripes, apply masking tape on the wall and draw lines in the correct interval. This design is perfect for giving a room the illusion of being more prominent, either taller or more comprehensive than it is.

Abstract Designs: If you want to achieve a messy, more or less geometric design, put the masking tape in different directions, rowing each other in any direction. Paint in all manner of colors within the sections to add a sense of youthfulness to the modernity of the building.

Accent Wall: Take one wall that can be decorated using the tapes. And if arranged in shapes or patterns, it will look quite interesting in the room.

These are easy to implement, and one can never get bored of the number of choices available for customizing pictures to hang on a wall!
